Kate Perri is not only a quilter, but also a storyteller. Just as her first quilt told the story of the many things she made when she was young, the quilts she creates for her clients tell their stories. It begins when a client brings in fabrics, photos and other paper memories that Kate transfers to fabric that will be used in quilts and pillows.

One of her more popular techniques is the "laundry quilt", crafted from clothing collections - T-shirts, men's dress shirts, hankies, and vintage linens & laces. Sometimes fun, sometimes serious, these make wonderful gifts for a wedding or anniversary, graduation or other milestone event. Kate often says that when the quilt is done, "your laundry never looked so good!"
