Kate Perri teaches private classes for adults and children and also teaches in after-school programs and workshops.

Through her extensive teaching experience with community organizations, Kate has developed a well-earned reputation for her technical skills, passion, enthusiasm, patience and most of all, her ability to transfer her all of these qualities to her students with fun and humor.

More recently, she has cultivated an interest in teaching niche populations including disabled children, Alzheimer's patients and seniors attending adult day-care. Some of her teaching clients have included:

• Blythedale Children's Hospital, Valhalla, NY (the Eileen Fisher Self-Image Grant for Girls)
• Greenwich Adult Day Care
• GEMS Program (Girls Empowered through Meaningful Support, a program of the YMCA of White Plains, NY)
• The Quilt Cottage, Mamaroneck, NY (retail quilt shop)
• Various programs in the White Plains, Rye and Scarsdale, NY school systems, serving up to 25 students per semester in after-school programs.
  Private and semi-private lessons can be arranged at Kate's studio in White Plains, New York.
• Quadrille Quilting  in North Haven CT

She also teaches summer Creative Camp for children, along with other sessions throughout the year for children and adults, at The Quilt Cottage, located in Mamaroneck, NY.
